LVMH Makes Minority Investment in BDK Parfums

LVMH Luxury Ventures has announced a minority investment in BDK Parfums. The exact financial terms were not disclosed. The investment will allow BDK to further expand into key global markets. 

The transaction will be led by Palix Unlimited, alongside David Benedek, founder of the brand.  

In response to the deal, Joël Palix, founder of Palix Unlimited, said, "From day one, our mission was clear: identify the ideal partner to support BDK Parfums’ creative ambition and artistic independence. With LVMH Luxury Ventures, we found an investor capable of bringing long-term vision, respect for the brand’s singularity and global expertise—a rare and valuable alignment."

BDK is an independent perfumer-creator house, based in the Palais Royal district of Paris since 2016. BDK Parfums fragrances were made in collaboration with perfumers Ralf Schwieger, Anne-Sophie Behaghel, Alexandra Carlin, Julien Rasquinet, Amelie Bourgeois, Anne Flipo, Dominique Ropion, Violaine Collas, Mathilde Bijaoui, Cécile Matton, Camille Leguay, Serge Majoullier, Jordi Fernández, Marie Schnirer, Amélie Bourgeois and Margaux Le Paih Guérin.
