Chanel has announced BTS member Jung Kook as global ambassador for fragrances and beauty.

Jung Kook is a South Korean singer and songwriter. He rose to prominence as a member and vocalist of the South Korean boy band BTS. His appointment further establishes the rise of K-beauty across categories like skin care, makeup, sun care and cosmetics for both mass and prestige brands.

In a statement released from Chanel's Instagram, Jung Kook said, "For me, Chanel is a pioneering house that cherishes its timeless heritage while constantly reinventing itself with modernity. As an artist, I try to stay true to my own style while embracing new challenges, so this partnership with Chanel fragrances and beauty is especially meaningful to me."
