LVMH has appointed Véronique Courtois as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Parfums Christian Dior and Chairman and CEO of the Group’s Beauty division, marking a pivotal moment for the world’s largest luxury group. Courtois joins the LVMH Executive Committee and will oversee all Beauty Maisons across the Group, while continuing to lead Parfums Christian Dior, ensuring managerial and strategic continuity at one of LVMH’s most powerful fragrance and beauty engines.

Stéphane Rinderknech, who previously led the expansion of LVMH Hospitality and the Beauty division, has decided to leave the Group to pursue new personal projects.

Commenting on the changes, Stéphane Bianchi, Managing Director of LVMH, stated that Rinderknech had “greatly contributed to the growth” of both hospitality and beauty, and welcomed Courtois and Arnault to the Executive Committee, citing their deep expertise, leadership and alignment with the Group’s values.

The appointment of Courtois consolidates leadership at a time when beauty remains one of LVMH’s most dynamic growth categories, spanning fragrance, skin care and makeup across heritage and contemporary Maisons. Courtois’ dual role signals confidence in Dior’s operating model as a blueprint for the wider division, particularly around brand desirability, long-term innovation and global scale.

Courtois brings more than two decades of experience within LVMH’s beauty ecosystem. Since joining the Group in 2000, she has held senior marketing and market leadership roles before becoming Chief Marketing Officer of Guerlain in 2007. She later joined Christian Dior Couture as Marketing Director in 2010 and was named Brand General Director of Parfums Christian Dior in 2012. As President and CEO of Guerlain from 2019 and Parfums Christian Dior since March 2023, she has been widely credited with strengthening brand equity, accelerating product innovation and driving sustained growth across fragrances and beauty.

Her elevation positions a deeply operational beauty executive at the helm of the entire division, a move likely to resonate with industry insiders watching how LVMH balances heritage, innovation and scale amid shifting consumer expectations.

Antoine Arnault Joins Executive Committee, Expands Oversight of Image and Sustainability

Alongside Courtois, Antoine Arnault has also joined the LVMH Executive Committee. In his role as Director of Image and Environment, Arnault will continue to oversee image, communication and sustainable development initiatives, responsibilities he has held since 2020.

Arnault has played a central role in shaping LVMH’s global image strategy, including the Group’s high-profile partnership with the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games and the creation of Les Journées particulières, which opened the doors of LVMH’s Maisons to the public. He has also led major communication campaigns for Louis Vuitton and repositioned Berluti as a benchmark in modern menswear.

A long-time advocate for sustainability within the Group, Arnault’s expanded mandate reinforces the strategic importance of environmental and biodiversity commitments under LVMH’s LIFE 360 roadmap.
