The Estée Lauder Companies Inc., which has reported strength among some key brands in its latest financial reports, has appointed Andrew Ross as senior vice president, strategy and new business development, effective September 1, 2016.
He is responsible for the ongoing development and implementation of the company’s strategy. Ross will also lead its mergers and acquisitions, licensing and alliance activities worldwide.

Ross, who was previously with ConAgra Foods and McKinsey & Company, succeeds Peter Jueptner, who was named president, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, as part of a wider management shakeup. Ross will join the company’s executive leadership team and report jointly to Fabrizio Freda, president and CEO, and Tracey T. Travis, CFO and executive vice president, global finance and strategy.
