Smashbox and Glamglow Under New Leadership at Estee Lauder

The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. has named Sejal Shah Miller senior vice president, global general manager, Smashbox. She reports directly to John Demsey and succeeds Beth DiNardo, who has retired with the brand, according to the company.

Based in the brand's LA headquarters, Miller Is responsible for "driving Smashbox’s brand equity and global expansion while capturing new avenues for growth. Her focus will include reinforcing Smashbox’s studio-born DNA, advancing the brand’s digital and influencer marketing leadership, and accelerating product innovation and commercial opportunities."

Miller previously served as SVP, global general manager at Mattel, overseeing the Girls & Games portfolios, which include the Polly Pocket, Uno and Scrabble franchises. She's also held roles with the Barbie brand franchise and L’Oréal’s Luxury Division, where she worked with brands such as Viktor & Rolf, Lancôme, Biotherm, Ralph Lauren and Giorgio Armani.

Demsey noted, “Sejal comes to us with a phenomenal track record of leading transformative marketing and commercial strategies for iconic consumer and beauty brands. She understands what it takes to drive breakthrough ideas and bring teams together, which position her well to lead Smashbox into its next chapter of growth.”

Meanwhile, Arnaud Goullin has been appointed senior vice president, global general manager, Glamglow. He reports directly to John Demsey and succeeds Paula Pontes, who is stepping down from her SVP role at the brand.

Based in the brand's Hollywood headquarters, Goullin is responsible for "accelerating Glamglow’s global brand equity, developing and executing the brand strategy, and expanding the brand’s global footprint."

He will work with Shannon Dellimore, the brand's co-founder and creative director, "to drive new development and innovation opportunities and relationships for the brand."

Goullin has been with Estee Lauder since 2006, with roles at Clinique and M·A·C Cosmetics. Previous to that, he held various roles with Shiseido-BPI.
