Aveda Launches Hair Style, Color App

Aveda announced the release of the My Aveda Make-Over iPad application and web based platform. Available through the iTunes store and through Aveda, the free app launched in July 2012 and allows users to virtually change their hair color and style. Users can explore ideas for new looks by choosing from offerings, created with Aveda Full Spectrum Professional Hair Color, and a library of hairstyles.

Other features include live chats with Aveda experts for topics such as style, skin care and makeup; a sharing feature to allow users to upload photos to the gallery; and one-touch access to the Aveda mobile website for additional content and "easy-to-use shopping."
