Cosphatec has added Cosphaderm Absolute (INCI: Propanediol, Sodium Lactate, Betaine, Water (Aqua) to its Cosphaderm line of ingredients.

According to the company, the efficacy of the product was demonstrated in a study and the antimicrobial effect has been proven in numerous challenge tests.

Cosphaderm Absolute is COSMOS and Natrue compliant and is a blend of three humectant active concentrations that can lower the water activity and thus the availability of water for microorganisms at the recommended use concentrations.
