HBA Global Expo and the Spa & Resort/Medical Aesthetics Expo (both open September 15, 2009, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York) announced a co-location partnership.
“By co-locating, attendees will get a 360 degree experience of the entire life cycle of a product," said Jill Birkett, event director, HBA Global Expo. "HBA is where new products begin, and now with Spa & Resort, attendees will be able to touch and feel finish goods and get a better understanding of its appeal to the consumer. Additionally, with the continued growth of the spa industry, HBA exhibitors will see owners and business managers who are looking to private label their own products, as well as seek new ingredients and products to place in their spas and resorts.”
“We are excited to offer our community added value with the HBA co-location," said Nancy Largay, vice president, Spa & Resort/Medical Aesthetics Expo & Conference. "The spa professionals and owners will be able to find the newest raw materials and ingredients, packaging solutions and beauty suppliers to enhance their product development plans. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to attend both shows with one badge plus attend specific educational programs on both show floors.”
HBA Global Expo features more than 600 educational and exhibiting partners. Exhibitors include international suppliers of raw materials and ingredients, packaging materials, dispensing systems, private label and contract manufacturers, and testing equipment. The Spa & Resort/Medical Aesthetics Expo supports the convergence of the traditional and medical segments of the spa and resort industry—featuring advanced spa, aesthetic, and wellness treatments and services. Attendees include spa/medical aesthetics owners and professionals; estheticians, dermatologists, dentists, plastic surgeons, wellness practitioners, nutritionists and holistic therapists.
Both events show floors will feature hundreds of new products in the beauty, spa and aesthetic arenas and live product demonstrations and exhibitor presentations. Registered attendees for either the HBA or Spa & Resort Expo can freely visit the exhibit floor of the other event with one badge during the two-days the shows overlap. Admission to the HBA conference program requires a different registration package.
