BASF Board of Executive Directors Announces Two Structural Changes

The BASF board of executive directors announced that Saori Dubourg and Michael Heinz will be changing responsibilities within the company. Dubourg will assume responsibility for the monomers, performance materials, petrochemicals and intermediates divisions, while Heinz will assume responsibility for the agricultural solutions, care chemicals and nutrition and health divisions.

Dubourg has been a member of the board of executive directors, BASF SE, Ludwigshafen, Germany, since 2017. She served as president for nutrition and health, BASF SE, Lampertheim, Germany, from 2013 to 2017. Dubourg will continue to be responsible for the European region.

Heinz, now based in Florham Park, N.J., has been a member of the board of executive directors, BASF SE, Ludwigshafen, Germany, since 2011, serving as industrial relations director since 2017. He will continue to be responsible for the North American and South American regions.
