Born in Beirut, she went on to study in Paris where she first entered the world of perfumery. Blanc then made her way to New York to be mentored by master perfumer Sophia Grojsman.
Considering herself a perfectionist, Blanc wants to create fragrances that are “themselves imperfect and addictive, filled with new ideas, tensions and emotions. Understanding these helps me create new structures and textures.”
Blanc shares, “I don’t believe in rules when I am working on a fragrance. I want to liberate myself and free my mind to explore new territories. This is when I am able to be the most creative.”
Stay tuned for an interview with Blanc on her fragrance journey, advice for new perfumers and more.
