Solabia Group has entered into an agreement to acquire Mibelle Biochemistry from the multinational home and personal care leader Persán. The transaction, expected to close in the coming months, will merge two science-focused organizations specializing in biotechnology-driven active ingredients for the beauty and health sectors.

Founded in Switzerland in 1991, Mibelle Biochemistry has established a global presence in more than 50 countries. The company's portfolio includes science-backed ingredients for skin beauty, healthy aging, hair care, and cognitive support.

Strategic Integration and Operations

  • Portfolio Expansion: The acquisition is intended to strengthen Solabia’s position in the high-performance active ingredients market by combining expertise in advanced biotechnology and plant-based science.
  • Quality Standards: Mibelle Biochemistry will maintain its Swiss-made production standards following the transition.
  • Market Reach: Solabia CEO Jean-Baptiste Dellon stated the move will expand the company's global reach and provide a broader base of customers with differentiated, science-backed solutions.

Cornelia Schürch, Head of Mibelle Biochemistry, noted that the partnership with Solabia would allow the Swiss-based team to scale its technologies and accelerate innovation. Financial terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.
