Joining the site as curators to share their expertise and product recommendations with OpenSky shoppers are veterans of the beauty business including: Too Faced founder and celebrity makeup artist Jerrod Blandino, dermatologist and skin care expert Dr. Fredric Brandt, former New York Times perfume critic Chandler Burr, cosmetic pioneer and celebrity makeup artist Sue Devitt, celebrity makeup artist Pati Dubroff, No More Dirty Looks founders Siobhan O'Connor and Alexandra Spunt, author and celebrity hairstylist Serge Normant, hairstylist Orlando Pita, dermatologist Neal B. Schultz, M.D, celebrity hairstylist Tara Smith and founder of Truth In Aging Marta Wohrle.

Each will curate a new selection of products every week consisting of their personal picks for the best in beauty. Shoppers can communicate directly with the curators within OpenSky’s platform, as well as watch their videos and read their expert reviews created by them for each product. OpenSky Beauty will offer shoppers insider access to tricks of the trade in all areas of beauty, including skin care, hair care, color, wellness, scent, nails and beyond.

“We are creating a really powerful tool for shoppers by giving them a way to engage in meaningful conversation around things they want to buy with top experts in their fields and then share those discoveries with other shoppers,” said Allison Slater, general manager of beauty and healthy living at OpenSky.  “It's equally exciting for the industry experts who have spent their life in the beauty business and can now directly share their knowledge with others in a new social way.”

Designed for the shopper who craves originality, excitement and discovery, OpenSky members can shop directly from their personalized homepage, which features an active feed of new products recommended by the experts they have chosen to connect with.
