Givaudan has announced its half year results.
The company saw sales of CHF 2.674 million for the first six months of 2018, an increase of 5.6% on a like-for-like basis.
Fragrance division sales, at CHF 1.223 million, saw an increase of 6.5%. Fine fragrance sales increased by 15.6%, driven by double-digit growth in all regions. Sales of fragrance ingredients and active beauty increased by 8.2%; active beauty saw double-digit growth. Sales of consumer products increased 3.9%.
Flavor division sales increased 4.9% on a like-for-like basis, to CHF 1.451 million. Beverages, dairy, sweet goods and snacks were the division’s main growth drivers, and all regions delivered growth.
