The Different Company perfumer Celine Ellena, daughter of perfumer Jean Claude Ellena, launched three new fragrance creations at New York’s Core Club. Un Parfum d’Ailleurs & Fleurs, Un Parfum de Sens et Bois and Un Parfum de Charmes et Feuilles are named for the feelings they evoke, as opposed to their componentry. Working with art director Thierry de Baschmakoff, the three scents are presented as a marriage of natural olfactory composition and luxury design.
The trilogy utilizes natural and precious components to reveal a traditional French garden—evoking elder flowers, star anise, cedar, black pepper, patchouli and peppermint leaves. While they are presented as a trilogy, each scent is sold separately at Takashimaya.
