Lorestani says, "Consumers [are] actively seeking out products with deep, legitimate science. They want to understand how things work at the molecular level. They're not satisfied with vague claims anymore."
He adds, "They expect the same level of ingredient sophistication, clinical backing and efficacy in what they ingest or use in hair care, color cosmetics, body care, oral care, intimate care—everywhere—as what they apply topically. They're reading labels, asking about mechanisms of action and demanding proof."

We measured objective outcomes, including skin firmness, elasticity, wrinkle depth reduction and moisturization using clinical-grade equipment. The results showed statistically significant improvements across these parameters. This is the same rigor I studied as an M.D. and Ph.D. student. That level of evidence is rare in beauty supplements, but it's what consumers deserve and what I look for personally."

"The ultimate proof is if the product works," says Lorestani. "Does the product deliver on the promise that it's making to the customers? You're going to see it, and you're going to feel it. That's the bar."

He adds, "We see a demand from these legacy players in the ingestible beauty category. As well, we see food and beverage companies expanding into beauty. We find that exciting because it means beauty is expanding. It's going to be present everywhere you can buy food products and topical products."
