L’Oréal USA appointed Angela Guy as general manager of ethnic beauty brand SoftSheen-Carson.
The former Pennsylvania State University graduate worked at Johnson & Johnson for 19 years. She then began working for SoftSheen-Carson in 2004 as vice president of sales and was promoted in 2007 to senior vice president of sales, having expanded SoftSheen-Carson’s national retail distribution. As the new general manager, Guy will oversee the brand’s sales in the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean.
“Angela has already achieved outstanding success and has clearly demonstrated her ability to lead SoftSheen-Carson in the future,” says Joe Campinell, president of the consumer products division, L’Oréal USA. “In addition, Angela is a very motivating leader of people, demonstrating a key understanding of individual needs, balanced with business goals.”
