L'Oréal Paris will operate a 5,000-square foot interactive beauty pavilion, The Color Space, at the Minnesota State Fair, Aug. 21–Sept. 1, 2008. The pavilion is designed as an educational facility to impart trend and product information firsthand to consumers.
Within the pavilion, Center Court allows visitors to make one-on-one appointments to receive skin analysis and skin care consultations from estheticians. The Skincare Lab allows consultation with L'Oréal Paris professionals to find daily, personalized skin regimens. In the cosmetics area, makeup artists share insider tips, match foundation and help find the perfect lip color or mascara to create the complete beauty look, and the Truelight Pod recreates specific lighting environments so visitors can see how lighting in daylight, office and bathroom affects their look and can learn what shades work with their coloring.
In addition, the company will be promoting products with samples for a range of consumers.
