
L’Oréal has appointed Delphine Viguier-Hovasse as its first chief innovation and prospective officer, overseeing the existing innovation teams at the company and the strategic prospective department "to ensure a holistic and future-focused approach to beauty innovation."

Viguier-Hovasse will assume the executive-committee-level role effective July 1, 2025.
She will report to Barbara Lavernos, deputy chief executive officer, in charge of research, innovation and technology.
Viguier-Hovasse, an engineer by training, joined L’Oréal in 1997 and has spent her career at the beauty giant, contributing to innovations such as the Elsève Glycolic Gloss and Panorama Mascara.
