dpHue has launched the Protect + Play Hair Mist—a leave-in mist formulated to shield hair against UV color fading from everyday sun exposure, and to maintain hair health. dpHue will also be the first official hair care sponsor of the U.S. Open Pickleball Championship, reportedly the largest pickleball tournament in the world.
The product is said to promote hair softness and shine to refresh second-day styles. It costs $28.
dpHue co-founders Donna Pohlad and Justin Anderson are big fans of pickleball, which inspired the brand to partner with U.S. Open Pickleball. The U.S. Open Pickleball Championship takes place in Naples, Fla., from April 23 to April 30, 2022.
Pohlad and Anderson said, “We couldn’t be more excited to be the hair care sponsor of the U.S. Open Pickleball Championships. To me, there’s such a clear synergy between who the pickleball athlete and the dpHue customer is. As an avid pickleball player myself, I noticed how much time I was spending in the sun—and in the showers—and how much it affected my hair. Then I realized I could quickly find a solution with dpHUE.”
