The dermatologist-developed skin care brand founded by actress Lili Reinhart has appointed beauty industry veteran Amanda Domaleczny as its new CEO.

Domaleczny brings nearly two decades of leadership experience across some of beauty’s fastest-scaling brands, including Live Tinted, TULA Skincare and Drybar. Her track record spans prestige retail and wholesale growth, operations, product development, and marketing innovation—experience that aligns squarely with Personal Day’s ambitions as it enters its next phase.

Founded on Reinhart’s lifelong acne journey, Personal Day has quickly built buzz with high-performing formulas designed without acne-triggering ingredients. The award-winning brand has gained early traction by blending clinical credibility with cultural relevance—an approach that Domaleczny will now help scale.

In her new role, Domaleczny will focus on expanding Personal Day’s national footprint at Ulta Beauty, strengthening its position as a TikTok-first brand powered by creator commerce, and advancing a product innovation roadmap centered on intentional, acne-conscious formulations.

“Personal Day has built incredible momentum in its first full year, rooted in authenticity with Lili’s personal acne story, community, and a real unmet need in skin care that won’t trigger breakouts,” said Domaleczny. “With strong traction already at Ulta Beauty and on TikTok, we see a clear opportunity to thoughtfully disrupt the category—by sharpening how we show up at retail, elevating product storytelling, and accelerating our innovation pipeline.”

Domaleczny is well known for building brands that win at Ulta Beauty. She helped grow Live Tinted into one of the retailer’s fastest-growing prestige color cosmetics brands and played a key role in scaling TULA Skincare to the #1 prestige skin care brand at Ulta, with top-ranked products across multiple categories, including Circana-tracked bestsellers. TULA was acquired by P&G in 2022. Earlier in her career, she also helped expand Drybar’s North American retail presence and strategic partnerships.

“We’ve had the pleasure of previously working closely with Amanda and couldn’t be more confident in her ability to lead Personal Day into its next phase of growth,” said co-founders Dan Reich and Ken Landis in a joint statement. “She brings a rare combination of strategic agility, deep consumer insight, and values-based decision-making.”

Reinhart echoed the sentiment: “Having Amanda by my side is pivotal as we lead Personal Day into an exciting new era—one that stays rooted in authenticity, driven by innovation, and committed to pushing the beauty industry forward through important conversations that break the stigma around acne.”

With a seasoned operator at the helm and momentum building across retail, social, and product innovation, Personal Day is clearly setting the tone for what’s next.
