What it is: My UV Patch by La Roche-Posay is a stretchable, wearable skin sensor designed to measure UV exposure with photosensitive dyes. The ultra-thin patch connects to the My UV Patch smartphone app, which translates UV measurement into alerts about the wearer’s sun exposure and provides tips on sun-safer behavior.

The breathable patch factors in perceived skin tone and existing sunscreen application to accurately estimate personal UV exposure.
