Pyle, who brings more than a decade of marketing experience to her new role, is succeeding Malena Higuera, who has served as Dermablend’s general manager for four years.

Prior to her new role, Pyle served as VP of global marketing and international business development for Essie. During her time there, she implemented product portfolio strategy for the brand to unlock incremental consumers and increase market share, according to Dermablend. She helped drive Essie to be the No. 1 nail brand in Western Europe and reach record market share in the United States.

She began her career at L’Oreal in the professional products division, working on L’Oreal Professionnel, Redken and Matrix.

“It’s an exciting time to welcome Tara to the active cosmetics division to lead Dermablend, as we’re seeing a growing demand in skin-first, science-backed and dermatologist-endorsed products,” says Marc Toulemonde, president of L’Oréal’s active cosmetics division. “Her knowledge of the industry and passion for the Dermablend brand will help to continue driving the success of the business.”
