Coty has announced the company is canceling its planned initial public offering of its Brazilian unit because of "adverse financial market conditions in the South American country," according to Reuters.

Coty reportedly announced plans to publicly list the unit in August 2021 with intentions to use the money to pay debt and expand its business.
