Gelest Inc. appointed Jonathan Goff, Ph.D.,  to president of Gelest, effective immediately. Goff has been with Gelest for 13 years, most recently serving as chief technology officer.

Barry Arkles, Ph.D., Gelest founder, is stepping down from the chief executive officer role to accept the position of Distinguished Adjunct Professor at Temple University.

Goff said, “I am excited to take on this new role.
