CrossChem Limited has introduced Glyplex, a formulation-ready active matrix designed to address both hair fiber damage and scalp surface condition.

In independent tensile testing, bleached hair treated with Glyplex at 20% of the supplied concentrate showed a 77.8% reduction in breakage versus untreated bleached hair, along with a 10.6% improvement in break stress, 13.2% reduction in stiffness and 46% break extension.

Exploratory scalp testing also found approximately 29-31% reductions in retained surface particles following a five-minute rinse-off application, although the company characterizes those results as directional based on a limited pilot population.

Glyplex is available for rinse-off, leave-on and professional hair and scalp formulations.
