ICMAD, the Independent Cosmetic Manufacturers and Distributors will host the 29th edition of its FDA Cosmetic Regulations Workshop at The New York Athletic Club in New York City on Thursday, April 29, 2010. The recent change in administrations has already resulted in FDA’s increased oversight of products the agency regulates. This educational event presents an opportunity to hear and question some of the federal officials most responsible for the enforcement of regulations in the beauty industry. Linda Katz, director of The U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Office of Cosmetics and Colors in the Center for Food Science and Applied Nutrition, will be providing an update and overview of FDA’s current cosmetic programs.
