Cosmoprof Announces Panelists for GCI magazine Moderated Conference Tract

Cosmoprof North America, to be held July 18–20, 2010, at the Mandalay Convention Center in Las Vegas, announced details of the “Look Back, Look Ahead, Look Within” conference tract. A panel will look at how consumer perception of exclusivity, luxury and well-being are changing the shape of the beauty industry. Further, the new opportunities that can be found through a focus on lifestyle, functional benefits and value will be explored, with a concentration on how and why brand owners must reconsider marketing strategies and focus on establishing a greater emotional bond through more personalized marketing and brand awareness.

The Panel

By interviewing and meeting with thousands of women annually on behalf of clients such as Glowelle, Estée Lauder, Mary Kay, L’Oréal, L’Occitane, Fresh, Bath & Body Works, Guthy Renker and Victoria Secret’s Beauty, Beyer helps companies understand what it takes to gain customer attention, achieve brand loyalty and build a beauty business that works.

Virginia Lee is a senior research analyst at Euromonitor International, helping Euromonitor’s clients make informed strategic decisions by providing insights into consumer trends, new products and retail channel developments. She is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and client summits—including HBA Global Expo.
