Target is bringing 600 only-at-Target wellness products to its stores, featuring SKUs across a number of categories; but one stands out from the others: beauty.
Amid challenged sales results, beauty has been a high point for Target.
In November 2024, EVP and chief commercial officer Rick Gomez, said, “In terms of category performance, sales and market share gains were strongest in beauty again this quarter with comparable sales growth of more than 6%. This strong performance was broad-based with growth in our core beauty business as well as our Ulta Beauty at Target offerings.”
In its latest wellness push, the retailer is bringing forth:
- a new hair care line from Being Frenshe, founded by Ashley Tisdale;
- the Blake Brown hair care range from Blake Lively;
- Lemme Tone gummies from Kourtney Kardashian Barker;
- Daise body care;
- a limited-edition collection from Native x Jarritos;
- Dr. Squatch body care;
- new products from Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's Papatui men's care line;
- a new men's fragrance from clean, vegan brand Fin'ery;
- SLF's red light therapy LED Face Mask;
- and Therabody's SmartGoggles sleep technology.
"We understand that wellness is deeply personal, and it spans many different aspects of people's lives, so at Target our approach to wellness reaches into every category of our assortment," said Gomez. "Across beauty, personal care, tech, food, beverage, nutrition and more, we're adding exciting new products to make it easier for people to find everything they need at prices that allow them to take care of themselves and their families without having to spend a lot of money."
