From Canadean's newly released "The Future of the Skincare Market in Sweden to 2017" report, the market research company finds the increasingly popularity of depilatories with Swedish consumers. According to the report, although facial care will continue to dominate the country's skin care market, depilatories will display the most growth to 2017. Canadean finds that this is mainly due to the efficiency and ease of use of the products.
With a value CAGR of 4.2%, skin care is the second-fastest growing health and beauty sector in Sweden to 2017. Facial care held the largest share of the sector in 2012, with value and volume shares of 56.6% respectively, and this stronghold will continue over the next five years.
Growing consumer opinion regarding depilatories as an efficient, safe and easy way to stay well groomed will help to push the depilatories category to be the fastest growing category of the skin care sector in Sweden, with a value and volume CAGR of 4.9% and 4.7% respectively, between 2012 and 2017.
