"After working in the beauty and intimacy space for years, I realized there was a real need for products that help women feel good in their skin—without compromising on quality, ingredients and packaging," says Mustone.

HighOnLove will take part in NYSCC's Suppliers' Day 2025 Indie Pavilion (booth 2319), "dedicated to highlighting new to market indie beauty brands that have novel ingredients, formulations and unique concepts," according to the organization. The event will also allow voting on participants as part of its People's Choice Award of Indie 360°.
The award announcement will take place during a champagne toast on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at the Indie Pavilion.
Here, Mustone tells us more about her brand, the challenges of indie beauty and much more.
Elevating Self-Care with Vegan, Results-Driven Essentials
Mustone: Our collection includes self-care and skin-care essentials designed to pamper, but they’re also expertly formulated to deliver results with top-notch ingredients, from our new Body Firming Oil with [Gattefosse's] Gatuline In-Tense MB to our clean-formula aphrodisiac fragrance, Pure Passion, and our sensation-boosting intimacy products. Everything is made with vegan formulas and designed to elevate your everyday rituals—whether you’re winding down, getting ready for a big night out, or just taking a moment for yourself.

Expanding Reach to Inspire Self-Care
Mustone: We’re excited to keep reaching new audiences, both through new product launches and retail partnerships. We’re expanding into more beauty retailers and high-end spas across Canada. But more than anything, we want to continue inspiring women to slow down, take the time for themselves, and bring a little more joy and intention to their routines. That’s what drives everything we do.
Staying Connected to Purpose as an Entrepreneur
Mustone: You have to stay connected to your “why” [as an entrepreneur]. If you don’t believe in your brand, how can you convince others to? There are always unexpected twists and turns in this journey, but having a clear sense of purpose makes it easier to navigate the challenges. That, and surrounding yourself with people who believe in the brand as much as you do. That support is everything.
Running an Indie Brand in 2025
Mustone: It’s equal parts inspiring and intense! The industry is moving fast, and today’s customers are really tuned in—they care about ingredients, sustainability and how brands make them feel. You need to be connecting with your audience digitally in a way that feels authentic. As a smaller, Canadian and women-owned brand, we have the advantage of being nimble and personal, but it takes a lot of heart, hustle, and adaptability to keep growing.
