Justine Wu, product development, Versed says, “Beauty consumers are becoming more sophisticated—they want skin care benefits in makeup, but they also want good coverage and payoff, and they want it all in a beautiful package. From our research and personal experience, we found that there was always a compromise; products that felt good on the skin but didn't last or the ones that had the right level of pigment but didn't have the benefits we were looking for.”
Wu adds, “As a skin care brand, we have the expertise to deliver on the skinification of makeup--from the ingredients to the textures--and create a solution in makeup that we haven't seen, particularly at an accessible price point.
