The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC) has received the RE100 Leadership Awards' Enterprising Leadership Award for its progress toward the global transition to 100% renewable electricity and long-term climate action strategy.

According to ELC, some of its climate control achievements include net-zero emissions and 100% renewably sourced electricity for its direct operations globally, the beauty industry’s first VPPA for a wind farm in Oklahoma, and more than 5 MW of onsite solar capacity at its global facilities.
ELC was reportedly one of the first prestige beauty companies to sign onto RE100 in 2017.
