Berk brings more than 20 years of experience to the role, with expertise in financial and accounting leadership in the consumer goods industry. Over the last 15 years he has held various senior positions at L’Oréal, including worldwide CFO for NYX Professional Makeup; vice president, finance and accounting at Urban Decay Cosmetics, where he was directly responsible for integrating the acquisition into the parent company; and vice president, finance for all brands in the professional products division. “We are delighted to welcome David to Milani,” said Milani CEO Grace Ray. “We are making great strides in expanding the Milani and Jordana brands, and his experience at growing multi-channel consumer brands, streamlining supply and inventory chains, and managing financial components across a global enterprise will be invaluable as we introduce more products and expand our customer relationships.”
Berk added: “I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to move into this fast-growing indie powerhouse as Milani has become the go-to multi-cultural brand for today’s consumers. I’m excited to work with Grace and the Gryphon [Investors] team to drive the strategies that will result in profitable growth.”
