CEW United Kingdom has announced the winners of the 19th annual Achiever Awards, to take place on December 15, 2020.

Lifetime Achiever Award

Elizabeth Hurley, global ambassador, The Estée Lauder Companies’ Breast Cancer Campaign

Hurley has spent her time as a spokesmodel for the company, spreading awareness by speaking openly about breast health and raising funds globally to find a cure for breast cancer.

Special Industry Award

Alan Jope, CEO Unilever

Jope is responsible for leading a geographically diverse consumer goods business, with presence in 190 countries.

Achiever Award

Alexia Inge, co-founder and co-CEO of Cult Beauty

Cult Beauty has been a recurring feature on the leader board of the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 and International Track 200 for the last three years and has been awarded the WWD E-tailer of the Year title.

Achiever Award

Ateh Jewel Ph.D., journalist, author, producer, broadcaster

Jewel has 19 years of industry experience and has written for titles such as Vogue, Sunday Times Style, Marie Claire, Elle. She currently runs a digital production company with her husband, whose clients include L’Oréal, Chanel, Dior and London Fashion Week. 

Achiever Award

Funmi Fetto, journalist, author, broadcaster

Fetto is a contributing editor at British Vogue, a beauty director and columnist at The Observer, author of Palette, The Beauty Bible for Women of Colour and founder of ORB (On Reflection Beauty) podcast.

Funmi consults and works with a global beauty brands and has chaired and spoken on panels covering topics relating to beauty, fashion, identity, race and journalism.

Trinny Woodall, broadcaster, entrepreneur, brand founder

Founder and CEO of the beauty brand Trinny London, Woodall has had 20 years of career experience in the media. She established herself as a fashion adviser, initially as a columnist for The Daily Telegraph, and later as a co-host for What Not to Wear and The Trinny and Susannah makeover shows, filmed across 20 countries.

The company has won numerous beauty awards and is sold online in over 65 countries. The premium beauty brand offers a wide range of soothing balms, serums, makeup and makeup accessories, and was recently listed as one of the fastest growing businesses in Britain.

Young Achiever Award

Laura Tudor, Centred founder

Having launched Centred in February, 2020, the company has been gaining a lot of attention as sustainable luxury brand.

Tudor's goal for her company was to create sustainable hair care products that would both educate and empower the consumer.
