BeautyStat has named Yaso Murray as its first chief marketing officer, who will focus on amplifying the chemist-founded brand's impact and innovation.
The executive will also help the brand further establish its position as a trendsetter and influencer in results-oriented skin care. As Circana recently noted, clinical brands have contributed a significant portion of sales in U.S. prestige skin care.
Murray previously held roles with brands such as Clinique, La Prairie, Philosophy and Image Skincare.
"We are thrilled to welcome Yaso Murray to the BeautyStat family as our inaugural chief marketing officer," said Ron Robinson, founder and CEO of BeautyStat. "Her remarkable expertise, creative prowess, and dedication to pushing boundaries make her the perfect fit to help us amplify our brand's presence and impact. With Yaso leading our marketing efforts, we are poised to reach new heights and continue disrupting the beauty industry."
"After learning so much from so many industry legends along the way, I am thrilled to partner with the iconic Ron Robinson and his amazing team at BeautyStat,” said Murray. “This is an emotional turning point for me, to partner strategically with a founder and investors who intentionally aim to propel our voice in the industry...to be surrounded by people of color at the table, people like myself, and to be part of democratizing what beauty truly means to the consumer."
