Clean beauty retailer, Follain, has announced plans to expand its brick and mortar presence across the U.S. and the formation of its new advisory board.
In 2017, Follain opted to become a digital-first brand and is anticipating a growth rate of over 200% for 2018. The brand plans to take advantage of this momentum by expanding beyond the East Coast with 10 physical retail stores, including locations in Seattle, Bethesda and Dallas. This expansion is expected to take place through the end of 2019.
Tara Foley, founder of Follain, explained, "Our new stores will have the same 'aspirational bathroom feel' we've always had—with beautiful tiles and a big basin sink for testing products; but the new locations will be even more optimized for education and customer centricity with rounded tables for better traffic flow, screens for interactive digital content and more."
Foley has also announced the addition of a new advisory board, effective April 12, 2018. The advisory board will aim to bring "more transparency to the business and share these experts with Follain's community publicly."
Board Members Include...
- Gay Timmons: Ingredient sourcing and supply chains;
- Amy Cannon, Ph.D.: Green Chemistry; and
- Erika Klemperer: Dermatology.
Follain has stated the board will continue to expand with pertinent experts over time.
