Olay Taps Medspa Momentum With Regenerist Treatments Line

'The OLAY Regenerist Treatments collection was inspired by some of the most sought-after cosmetic procedures, including in-office injectables and invasive lifting surgeries, which have shaped consumer expectations around visible skin transformation,' says P&G's Rolanda Wilkerson, Ph.D.

The medspa aesthetic just went mass.

Olay is leaning into the procedure-inspired beauty boom with its new Regenerist Treatments collection—four non-invasive SKUs positioned as alternatives to some of the most in-demand in-office cosmetic treatments, minus the needles, downtime or four-figure price tags.

With an MSRP of $34.99 per product, the line squarely targets consumers chasing clinical results at shelf price. The hook: plastic-surgeon and dermatologist approval and a formula story anchored in Olay’s Hexa-Repair Peptide Complex, a blend of Triple Collagen Peptide and Argireline Peptide designed to visibly address wrinkles and volume loss.

The Lineup: “Treatment” Language Goes Topical

"The OLAY Regenerist Treatments collection was inspired by some of the most sought-after cosmetic procedures, including in-office injectables and invasive lifting surgeries, which have shaped consumer expectations around visible skin transformation," says P&G's Rolanda Wilkerson, Ph.D.

She adds, "OLAY focused on understanding the key benefits consumers are looking for such as firmer-looking skin, smoother texture, plumper-looking skin, and fewer visible expression lines. We then applied OLAY’s decades of expertise in peptides and cellular aging science to develop advanced topical formulas that can deliver similar results."

Wilkerson continues, "Inspired by popular in-office injectables, OLAY Regenerist Treatments feature peptides like Argireline, which help relax the look of expression lines over time, alongside OLAY’s Triple Collagen Peptide (Pal-KT, Pal-KTTKS and AT-peptide) to improve cell bonding, support visible signs of natural collagen, and promote younger, healthier-looking skin."

Each SKU maps to a familiar medspa ask:

  • Wrinkle Correcting Treatment Serum – A nightly Pro-Retinol formula targeting frown and forehead lines, promising repair plus deep hydration for a smoother, plumper look.
  • Face & Neck Lifting Treatment – A daily firming product featuring Pro-NAD+ (Niacinamide), positioned to visibly tighten and contour sagging skin.
  • Resurfacing Peel Night Treatment – An overnight AHA peel aimed at texture refinement and dark spot reduction.
  • Eye Wrinkle Correcting Treatment – A daily eye formula powered by Bakuchiol, the plant-based retinol alternative, for deep-set crow’s feet and fine lines.

"Conversations with dermatologists and plastic surgeons played a critical role in shaping both the formulation strategy and the claims behind Regenerist Treatments," says Wilkerson. "These experts helped OLAY prioritize outcomes that matter most to consumers seeking aesthetic procedures. They also shared perspectives that not everyone who seeks a professional treatment should get one, and treatments do not solve the need for regular skin care. This is where ingredients like effective peptides come in."

Wilkerson continues, "Those insights guided the development of OLAY’s advanced Hexa-Repair Peptide Complex, a potent combination of Triple Collagen Peptide and Argireline Peptide that improves the appearance of wrinkles and volume loss without the need for procedures. Each treatment also features a targeted active to address a specific concern, while working together as a cohesive system to support healthy-aging skin. For example, the Face & Neck Lifting Treatment pairs the Hexa-Repair Peptide™ Complex with Pro-NAD+, an ingredient that has become increasingly popular in facial skin care, to promote surface cell renewal and visibly rejuvenate skin."

Tackling the Downtime Challenge

"While Medspas communicate benefits of visible results without long recovery periods, some women have felt the need to stay home after a procedure (e.g. swelling, raised areas around injection sites) or the concerns of the unknowns of skin procedures," says Wilkerson.

She adds, "The idea of 'no downtime' was central to the development of OLAY Regenerist Treatments, starting with lightweight, fast-absorbing textures designed for a pleasing user experience. Cooling applicators and precision metal tips further enhance the experience, help reduce puffiness and make high-performance treatment care easy to use at home."

Wilkerson concludes, "Backed by over 70 years of skin science, these treatments work at the cellular level, strengthening weakened bonds and energizing surface cells, while fitting seamlessly into existing skin care routines."

Big Results, Small Price Tag

"OLAY identified a growing gap between the rising demand for aesthetic procedures and the reality that many consumers are hesitant about the cost, commitment, and recovery associated with procedures," says Wilkerson. "At the same time, the available over-the-counter skin care didn’t feel powerful enough to address those same visible concerns."

She adds, "Regenerist Treatments were created to bridge that gap by offering non-invasive, science-backed solutions that deliver dramatic results without the barriers associated with procedures. Designed as a first step, or an in-between step, before in-office treatments, the collection gives consumers access to advanced skin care technology that feels both effective and not scary."

Why It Matters for Beauty Insiders

The launch underscores how far medspa-coded claims have penetrated mass skin care. “Lifting,” “resurfacing,” “correcting,” and “peel” are no longer reserved for injectables and lasers—they’re now firmly embedded in the drugstore lexicon.

For brands and formulators, the playbook is clear:

  • Borrow procedural language.
  • Anchor in recognizable actives (retinoids, peptides, AHAs, NAD+, bakuchiol).
  • Layer in clinical validation cues (derm- and surgeon-approved).
  • Democratize at sub-$40 price points.

As consumers increasingly self-diagnose wrinkles, volume loss and laxity through a medspa lens, legacy brands are racing to offer “procedure energy” in a jar. With Regenerist Treatments, Olay is staking its claim in the growing gray zone between dermatologist’s office and beauty aisle.
