In a new video briefing, Croda Beauty Actives introduces Matrixyl® Neolide™, the latest evolution of its Matrixyl® peptide technology, designed to address advanced skin care, skin longevity and post-procedure recovery. At the heart of the ingredient is a patented, biodegradable submicron lipid capsule designed to protect palmitoyl pentapeptide-4 from enzymatic degradation and enable controlled release in skin.

The delivery system slows peptide release by up to 15 times compared with traditional, non-encapsulated peptides. In vitro testing showed no degradation of encapsulated Matrixyl after two hours, with 50% of the peptide concentration retained after 16 hours.
