IMCD has announced that Irene Cantos has been appointed to business group director personal care.

In her role, Cantos will lead the personal care business group, serving suppliers and customers in the distribution of specialty ingredients.

The group aims to grow both organically and through acquisitions and hopes to provide local service, advanced marketing, as well as digital and technical capabilities.

Cantos brings with her 16 years of experience in the distribution of specialty ingredients in regulated markets and will be based at the IMCD offices in Barcelona, Spain, where she will report to IMCD’s CEO, Piet van der Slikke.
