As it transforms its brands toward a more digital-led model, Natura &Co has suffered a data breach impacting 250,000 customers. The payment-related information was freely available online and comprised information such as name, mother’s maiden name, date of birth, nationality, gender, username, nicknames, recent purchases, phone number, and email and home addresses.

The breach also exposed the password to Natura's Amazon cloud-based server hosting its website, which could have allowed hackers to steal payment card details. That would have impacted 192 million records.

Ninety percent of impacted consumers were Brazilian. Others include Peruvians.
