Sundial CEO Richelieu Dennis has been honored for the ways in which he has reshaped multicultural beauty and the lives of communities impacted by its brands.

Sundial Brands is home to some of the fastest-growing, innovative hair and skin care straddling the multicultural and general markets, including Madam C.J. Walker and Shea Moisture. So it's little surprise that Sundial CEO Richelieu Dennis has been named to Fast Company’s Most Creative People list, which "features leaders who are shaping the future of business in creative ways."

Sundial creates economic opportunities and supports wellness for communities in the United States and Africa trough what it calls its "community commerce purpose-driven business model."

Dennis was recognized for his brand's use of natural, certified organic and fair trade ingredients, as well as meeting the underserved skin care and hair care needs of a diverse consumer base.

Under his leadership, Sundial has expanded multicultural beauty into the general market and achieved status as a B Corp company. It also holds a Fair for Life social and fair trade certification. In 2015, Sundial was named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in the United States. Last year, Dennis was named by OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network to the inaugural “SuperSoul 100” list.
