Shiseido Revises FY 2020 Consolidated Forecast

Shiseido Company has announced that it revised the consolidated forecast for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2020.

Shiseido's revised net sales are 920,000 million yen, compared to its previously announced  915,000 million yen. 

The company's operating profit improved from a loss of 10,000 million yen to a gain of 15,000 million yen.

It's ordinary profit loss was revised from a loss of 15,000 million yen to a gain of 9,500 million yen.

Shiseido's revised net profit changed from 30,000 million yen to 12,000 million yen, which is an 18,000 million yen improvement.

According to the company, it revised its full-year consolidated forecast because of "anticipated delays in the market recovery which were likely to continue to a certain extend in the fourth quarter, while impacts of the global spread of COVID-19 remained uncertain."
