Greyverse is a biomimetic peptide that stimulates melanin synthesis, favoring melanin transfer from melanocytes to keratinocytes. It improves catalase activity and reduces excess hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), resulting in hair re-pigmentation and the reversal of gray hair. According to the company, at levels of 0.5-2.0%, the ingredient demonstrated efficacy in vitro, ex vivo and clinically.

Update: The company has released new results on the ingredient based on a consumer test in 100 volunteers. Specifically, similar efficacy was observed in both men and women, in the majority of hair colors, and the ingredient even worked on the early stage of the graying process.

In one month, 31% of participants saw less white hair, 28% said hair looked darker, 31% said roots grew in darker, and 63% said hair looked healthier. In a three-month span, 64% saw less white hair, 57% said hair looked darker, 50% said roots grew in darker and 71% said hair looked healthier.
