To better support customer demands, Innospec has invested to double its production capacity for Iselux (INCI: Sodium Lauroyl Methyl Isethionate) in the North Carolina plant.
Iselux is a sulfate-free surfactant utilized for gentle, effective cleansing across various personal care applications and was launched in 2009. This new capacity will support the range and its growth to the next generation of personal care products. The company expects for the additional production volume to be added online starting Jan. 1, 2018.
“This significant additional capacity demonstrates Innospec’s commitment to novel ingredients for the personal care market,” said Bruce McDonald, president of Innospec’s Performance Chemicals business. “It underlines our strategy to focus on specialty surfactants and ensures all our customers’ needs are met, in terms of both innovation and supply.”
