ChemSpec Ltd., a subsidiary of the Safic-Alcan Group, an independent specialty chemicals distributor, has announced that it has successfully achieved ISO 9001-2015 Certification in Quality Management Systems from Perry Johnson Registrars.
This most recent certification demonstrates ChemSpec’s continuous improvement in ISO quality management systems and is being recommended for continued certification, with zero findings for the third consecutive year, per the organization.
The standards are documented by ISO and provide requirements, specifications, guidelines or characteristics used consistently to ensure materials, products, processes and services are fit for their purpose.
ChemSpec also has full membership status with the National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD) and is certified NACD for having achieved Responsible Distribution Verification Process.
“Through our successful ISO recertification, ChemSpec’s senior management and entire team demonstrates our continued commitment and belief in the continuous improvement process of our chemical distribution business,” ChemSpec president Dave Moreland said.
