Update (February 1, 2022): Beiersdorf has completed its acquisition of Chantecaille Beaute Inc., USA, which is now part of the consumer business.

In 2021, Chantecaille generated global sales in excess of $100 million.

Previously: Beiersdorf is acquiring prestige beauty brand ChantecailleThe transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2022.

Chantecaille is forecast to generate global sales in excess of $100 million in 2021.

The brand will continue to be managed separately as a complementary selective brand in the Beiersdorf Group next to La Prairie.

Depending on the future development of the Chantecaille business, the enterprise value is between $590 million and $690 million.
