Hallstar Beauty has hired John Dwyer as its new director of global operations. His responsibilities include leadership of strategic sourcing, materials planning, logistics, production, warehousing and customer service teams.
Dwyer’s previous experience includes director of manufacturing operations and engineering at Daubert Chemical and management consultant at Accenture.
Germano Coelho, divisional president of Hallstar Beauty, said, “Hallstar has a solutions-oriented culture, and we are known for our sustainable ingredients, dedicated customer and technical services, and reliable global supply chains. With the world’s current transportation struggles, distinctions like supplier dependability, efficiency and innovation become even more critical to customers. We are fortunate to have someone like John in this global role to further develop a cohesive, high-performing team focused on our customers’ success.”
Dwyer said, “This new role gives me an opportunity to focus on the end-to-end supply chain at a thriving, global company. Because Hallstar Beauty continues to innovate for its customers, there are operational challenges in my future that I can’t even predict right now. But I do know that I’m passionate about chemistry and customer service, as well as about building relationships with talented, curious coworkers in an ethical and respectful professional environment. That’s why I know Hallstar is a great place for me to be.”
