HBA Global Expo is seeking speaker proposals for its educational program, taking place June 28–30, 2011, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York. Leaders in all areas of the beauty industry (including brand managers, product developers, trend forecasters, educators, researchers, entrepreneurs and manufacturers) are encouraged to submit an application. The trade show and conference annually attracts more than 16,000 industry professionals.
In June 2011, the three-day HBA educational program will feature its popular Marketing and Technical Conference, along with dedicated conference programs focused on green cosmetics, natural and organics, the global perspective and skin care.
“As an event that covers all aspects of the industry, HBA’s educational program provides conference delegates with need-to-know information that will propel new product development plans and grow their business,“ said Rebecca Fraimow, education program director, HBA Global. “We plan to add more interactive sessions to the educational experience at HBA and foster an even greater exchange of fresh ideas and best practices.”
Most sessions in the HBA Conference Programs are 75-minute panels and include three speakers addressing different elements of an over arching topic. Some of the areas that will be covered at HBA include an in-depth look at what is happening in key product categories; market, distribution and buying trends; creating successful brands; package design and consumer appeal; innovation and idea generation; regulatory updates; social media marketing; and real-world case studies.
Those interested in speaking at HBA can submit an on-line speaker application at www.hbaexpo.com/presentations. More information about HBA, including 2010 sessions and speakers, can be found at: www.hbaexpo.com/educate_confprogram or contact Fraimow at [email protected] or 1-609-759-7605.
