ADF&PCD New York has released the shortlist for its Innovation Awards. The awards recognize outstanding achievements in aerosol dispensing, personal care and cosmetic packaging.
ADF categories are broken into four groups:
- Personal Healthcare
- Skincare & Sun Protection
- Industrial & Technical application
- Pharmacy & Veterinary
Finalists include Dove & Unilever for Go Fresh, DS Containers for Spiral Deboss, Beiersdorf for its Aquaphor and Montebello Packaging for its Aerosol Aluminium Impack Extruded Can.
The PCD side of the awards includes six categories:
- Personal Healthcare & Skincare
- Hair Care & Hair Color, Makeup & Cosmetics
- Perfume & Home Fragrance
- Rising Star
- Indie Beauty
Among those shortlisted are Baralan’s Meghan Skincare Bottle; OLIKA’s Life Minnie Natural Hand Sanitizer; Estée Lauder’s Mascara Pure Colour Envy; L’Oréal’s Colorista Spray; Coty’s Tiffany Perfume Glass Bottle, Thierry Mugler’s Aura and Perfecting Day and Night Serums by Tula.
“The standard of entry for this year’s Innovation Awards has blown us away,” said Alli McEntyre-Gaharan, event director of the ADF&PCD Portfolio. “It not only shows that the industry is currently in good health, but also that the future of the industry is being considered and challenged already. The strength of the submissions tells us that we have some really exciting times ahead of us, and we are thrilled to be able to showcase these technologies and solutions at our show.”
Winners, which will be selected by a panel of industry experts, will be announced at the live show Sept. 5-6, 2018 at the Altman Building & Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City.
