Consumer Engagement Anywhere, Any Time: L'Oreal USA Mobile Payment

L'Oreal USA (New York) is partnering with mobile purchasing firm PowaTag to "transform any consumer touch point, from print and TV advertising to ecommerce, retail stores and social media into a platform for mobile transactions, promotions and more on a person's smartphone."

Via mobile and desktop devices, consumers can interact and make purchases from print and electronic advertising.

The move allows L'Oreal USA to deepen consumer engagement using their preferred means for brand connectionmobile devices, particularly smart phones.

"Through this exciting partnership with PowaTag, we see a new way to merge the online and offline worlds of our customers, adding value to their lives and bringing ease and convenience to their mobile shopping experiences," said Marie Gulin-Merle, chief marketing officer at L'Oreal USA.
